Huh? Trinidad was undefeated in over 40 fights, one of the p4p best and a 2-to-1 betting favorite in that fight.

'Tito' had just destroyed a long-reigning middleweight title holder William Joppy in 5 rounds.

Not everyone thought Hopkins was going to lose but many casual fans didn't seem to think he had much of a chance. That's why so many bet on 'Tito'.
