David Haye vs Juan Carlos Gomez?

The possibility of this fight happening somewhere down the line is not completely out of the question. Haye could be a couple of fights away from a title fight, and Gomez at this present time, sits at number 2 in the WBC rankings. Obviously, for this fight to mean anything, it would have to be for the title. But if a title fight were to happen, we could at least have the added bonus of two ex cruiserweight champions battling it out to see who's the best.

Both men appear to be very evenly matched it terms of size too: Haye is listed at 6'3'' with a 80½“ reach. Gomez at 6′3½'' with an 80½“ reach also.
This fight would also be a very rare chance to see two exceptionally gifted fighters go at it in the heavyweight division. We're so used to seeing big guys who look very sluggish with only average skill levels in most departments.

Does anyone else at all find this even a little bit interesting? [Assuming both men are in a position to make the fight worthwhile].

why would haye have any interest other than gomez's high ranking? most people dont even know who gomez is. it would be hish risk with little reward
