Whether you think Cotto would be easy work or giving Mayweather the toughest fight of his life, he still has to get in the ring and actually prove it. Upsets do happen and I think Cotto has the style to beat Mayweather. There is a reason Mayweather does not want to get in the ring with this man.
Could Cotto Really Deal With This?

He still beats these other prime ranked welters, wether he displays skill or not. His in-ring intelligence has to be the best in boxing today and with the skill he is capable of posessing i can't see him being beaten.Comment

Nice, it's good to see some variation.
That had some different/extended footage. Good clip, great thread.

Even with his pot-shotting technique of late, Floyd was still comfortably ahead on the cards in the Hatton fight, and was able to outbox a smart, experienced fighter in Oscar De La Hoya. That doesn't bode well for Miguelito.
While I'd still pick PBF to win a pretty comfortable decision (116-112, in all likelihood), I'd still like to see this fight as I think Miguel has the style to beat PBF if certain variables present themselves (small ring, effective pressure while using the jab from Miguel, body punches slowing Floyd down late, etc).Comment

Miguel is definitely the only major threat to take that 0 away from his record.....but IF Floyd makes the fight, theres no doubting he will bring his 'A' game to the fight.
This fight HAS to happen, just to shut one set of fans up for good.Comment

To be honest, i think i could have worded it better because looking back, i don't think he has beaten a natural Welter, who was in their Prime and ranked at the same time. I could be wrong, but i'm not his biggest fan, i just admire his achievements.Comment
