I don't buy this theory that Enzo was exposed as an average fighter. He was more than holding his own in the first round and actually landed a couple of hurtful punches, but then he got caught flush with that monster right hand...twice! I want to know who people think could have taken that right hand and survived, because I can't think of anyone who could. (maybe Toney) If that is getting exposed then a hell of lot fighters would be exposed after that as well.

This fight mirrors the Tsyzu/Judah fight, Judah had a good first round until he got caught in the second round, Instead of taking a knee he wanted to show his heart by holding unto the ropes, The referee cannot be blamed in that circumstance it would be really unfair to blame the ref.

          Mark my words Maccarinelli froze.

He will beat Cunningham with ease.

Watch the two, Haye fight aside. Enzo might even stop USS.

i dont see how people can see a knockout (and an early one at that) as an inconclusive result somehow. Macca WAS exposed. He was never near hayes level, he just thought he was because all his biggest fights (clinton woods, jonny nelson etc) never happened. i dont doubt that he'll be back (frank warren fighters tend to get swindled, i doubt macca has retirement moeny yet), id imagine a legit european title would be a good next move for him, he needs to build his way back up to world class and then pray for a shot against a bell or RJJ or someone.

I think he did too, He wasnt relax at all..He came worried about Haye right hand landing when he too has so many good offensive about him that could worry Haye, The best form of defence is to attack. He would definitely be back.

Huge respect for Enzo, but he was at the wrong place, at the wrong time. He was exposed as the ordinary fighter that he is, a WBO champion who was spoon fed easy opponents by Frank Warren. It makes me wonder why any fighter signs up with him?
That got him 2 belts and an huge payday. Count on more of those types of fighters if no proper rules come to boxing. Tittle fights are BS nowadays. Macca should never been in there. Like Haye said, he's in a different class.

                    I think he did too.

Did you say the way he ran down to the ring?

He was fighting fairly well and rocked Haye notably in the first round with a hook. He won the first round easily enough on my card, but Haye KO'd him... so there isn't much to say.
