    just watched tua-ibeabuchi again

i hadnt watched this fight in quite awhile, just saw it on espn classic. i forgot how great of a fight this was. after seeing the latest heavyweight snoozefests, i can really appreciate a great, action packed fight like tua-ibeabuchi. definately one of my all time favorite heavyweight fights.

There's no doubt in my mind that Ike would have been a world champ if he hadn't gone to prison. I'm not sure why he didn't fight for the two years between when he knocked out Chris Byrd and when he got locked up though. Him and Tyson is a fight I would have loved to have seen.

I think he took some pretty good shots from Tua that might have had a lingering affect.

Very good fight, I actually liked Tua-Izon a little better since it ended in more exciting and conclusive fashion.

man, amazing. late last night after the fights i put on the tua/ibeabuchi. i swear! agree with you! i really feel the bar has been lowered on the expectations of now days hvwt clowns. i mean look at the last few weeks hvwt bouts! we got clubfighters who are in contention for belt. nuthuggers that use the term causious and 'he did what he had to do" when their fighter puts on a boring showing. and ruiz and mccline are still around stinking up the place. wow the workrate of both tua and ibeabuchi seemed astounding. they went at it. no panzy slaps and hugging going on there! and both corners actually giving there boxer usefull instructions. great fight!!!

ha ha. i watched the foreman/morrison fight after last nights fights. is this a trend? wanting to watch old hvwt fights after watching recent hvwt bouts? whats that tell you? i agree with poster that said the bar has been lowered.
