    Enzo Mac- How the hell??

You gonna leave your hand so low especially after already being hit with a right hand because of it. A really ****** and small mistake that could have been corrected easily! And Enzo Cal is supposed to be one of the best trainers right now? I felt sorry for the guy yesterday, not only did he really get knocked down twice.. The ref. didn't step in though. But he got up too fast and when he did.. He looked like a newborn who is barely learning to walk! Head tilting to the side all off balance It was a good fight, I kind of wish the ref. would have called it the first time he got dropped so we would have had a little more action but Haye would have beat his ass either way.

I'm sure he knew what to do against Haye but like the old saying goes, everyone has a gameplan until they get hit.

Haye hits hard as hell and when you get tagged by him flush, keeping your hands up is the last thing that comes to mind.
Enzo should've taken a knee and taken the count of eight before getting up but I doubt he could think clearly at that point..

Cal Sr.'s post-fight remarks reminded me of a football manager who cries tactical lapse at an undefendable goal. Enzo has his limits -- for as hard as he trained, and for as much as the Calzaghe camp have improved him and made the most of his attributes, there's only so much you can do. It's one thing to have a gameplan, but executing it against that level of opposition is another. Haye made Enzo expose his chin and clinically exploited the gap. He was just too much for Mac, and that's all there is.

I honestly think that even with hands up the way Haye was punching he would have busted through Maccas guard, the only way to really take that right hand away is to move your head and learn to roll with the shot, Enzo's head was static

ENZO NOT ALLOWED TO SPAR JOE.

Enzo Maccarinelli feels his own mistakes were to blame for him losing the WBC/WBA/WBO cruiserweight title bout in stunning style to David Haye at the O2 Arena.

Welshman Maccarinelli was stopped in just the second round of one of the most anticipated all-British title matches in recent years.

Speaking after the contest the Enzo Calzaghe trained boxer feels he contributed to his own downfall and made it easy for Haye to unify the titles.

"I made a mistake and got caught – as simple as that," he admitted. “He caught me with my chin up in the air and he pounced on me.

"I’m disappointed but I take my hat off to him. He is a good puncher, a lot sharper than I thought it will be.

“I was in prime physical condition. But I let him dictate the pace. I was too tentative. It’s a massive lesson to learn.”

Promoter Frank Warren also admitted that the defeat would have an effect on Joe Calzaghe’s preparations for his clash with Bernard Hopkins in April.

Maccarinelli would have served as Calzaghe’s chief sparring partner but due to BBBC rules this now cannot happen.

“He’s not allowed to,” mused Warren. “After being stopped he can’t box in any way for 30 days.”

Umm, is Maccarinelli suppose to fight like Hopkins or something?

                  I know.

I tried to make a new topic about it but my computer lags too much.

                  Who will he get instead?
