Even though both guys looked slow out there it was still better than the recent HW fights. I didn't have my hopes up very high for the fight especially after Diaz/Campbell, but it turned out to be more exciting than I expected.

that was a good fight, entertaining. That was about as good a heavyweight fight your going to see this year, so soak it up while u can i guess, even though it wasnt that good.

And Peter definetly has some very good finishing skills, something he has lacked in the past

If Klitschko fights Povetkin, that should definitely be a better fight. For action Peter-Maskaev was ok, but the pace was ultra slow and the quality of boxing was way low for a heavyweight title match.

Maskaev was arguably down when he hit the turnbuckle. On top of that, he'd just been pummeled around the ring for 20 seconds. He wasn't gonna make it.

The referee was amateurish in the way he handled the fight. He should have realized that there were just seconds left in the round and let it go...
