what the hell does that matter? u think he is the first guy to have a cut? the cut was not even that bad! many fighters have went on to win with worse cuts. he was outworked, and beat up by a cagey veteran. he will still be back, and do well, but his stock want down substantially!

Yeah, it was a pretty even fight before then, though I think that first little cut from a headbutt affected him some. He was talking about when his corner was going to throw in the towel, he knew he couldn't knock Campbell out, he couldn't see out of one eye so he had no chance of winning enough of the remaining rounds, he just wanted to go out on his shield, as it were.

I hope Diaz rebounds from this fight better than ever.
