David Haye is the real deal

I have to say, I am very impressed with this guy's ability to box.
He seems to box like a true professional. He seems so loose, and fluid with his movements, like somebody from the lower weight divisions.
He has awesome power, and knows how to get the job done, with almost all his wins coming by way of KO.
I have to say, I can't help but like this guy as a boxer.
He is extremely entertaining, and to say it again, he knows how to get the job done.

I think if he puts on weight, and it doesn't affect his speed and agility too much in the heavyweight division, he will definitely send shockwaves throughout it, which is full of slow big men, who are happy to fight at a slow and tiresome pace.

I agree, although I'm still worried his chin might not be up to heavyweight. His power will be far, far too much for the majority in the division though and Haye certainly has the heart to climb off the floor if he has to. I'd just rather he didn't have to.

Whether he becomes the great his potential suggests or not though, no one can deny that he is supremely entertaining to watch and a welcome addition to the heavyweight division. No one sane anyway.

Yeah he is the best cruiserweight in the world, and could do well at heavyweight.

He spars a lot with big heavies, he recovers well from big punches. I've seen him take loads his main problem is stamina. It's hard for him to show its improved cos he keeps sparking people out before the championship rounds

Haye has the ability and power to challenge the best at Heavyweight. however there are some problems...

              1) His chin isn't great, this could be exposed by most heavyweights...Sam Peter?

              2) For someone with a slightly suspect chin he holds his left hand way too low, slipping punches is great but he should still keep his chin tucked in and hands uip when under pressure a la Floyd.

              3) His stamina is seriously questionable, did welll in the later rounds to stop against Giacobbe Fragomeni (9th) but the oinly time he has gone the distance was against Ismail Abdoul in a very slow paced fight.

Hopefully his chin and stamina will improve when he doesn't have to drain himself so much to make weight. I hope he does well at heavy because he is a talented and exciting young fighter who will be a breath of fresh air in a stale division.
