Anyone else EXTREMELY dissapointed in HAYE-MACC???

I thought that was gonna be a good fight.

But it was CLEAR after only a few minutes, that Macc was not on Hayes level and would not go more then 3 or 4 rounds.

    Haye is much much better.

I cant wait to see what Haye can do at heavyweight, it is really intruiging. Hed be outsized and outgunned, i hope he can make a splash though

Hell yea, I expected a war. Mac didn't put up a challenge at all. After all that hype of the fight and it ends in 2 rounds, kinda like Tyson's old fights.

Isn't Haye 6'4" or so? And we know he hits hard, so why would he be outsized or outgunned, save by Klitschko?

And yeah, that fight wasn't what I expected (mainly, some competitiveness).

why does everybody keep saying he doesn't have the size or power?

he's 6'3 and if he adds 20 or 25 pounds which he can and will he'll be 6'3 and 225 pounds that easily a heavyweight.
he has alot of power maybe not wlad or peter power... but he has got it

It was a really basic fight. You could see one minute into the first round what would happen. Macc was slower and had to reach to throw his jab, and Haye was faster and had a longer reach. He was countering the jab with the big right and it was clear that Macc had no other strategy to counter it. He would just jab and get countered with the over hand right. I wasnt impressed with what I saw at all.

I was just thinking the same thing. This isn't any sort of glory era for the heavyweight division. It's loaded with a ton of mediocre talent. Haye's moving up would immediately make him one of the top five most talented fighters in the division and that's being conservative. Now that he's at heavyweight, he'll finally eat right and be able to add some serious muscle to his frame.

In short, he's coming along at a perfect time for the move up.

nooo, really? 6'4"??? no way. i was thinkin maybe 6-1

Anyway, i was mainly talking about klitschko. How he would fair in that fight is intruiging to me. How he could possible get past that jab and do something effective is difficult

Why be dissapointed? Haye destroyed him you can only be dissapointed if you believed the pre fight hype but we all really knew Haye would destroy him.
