thoughts? i think it is! i mean, this is the best fight we can have for the most part. plus if it is a blow out, and undeserving of a rematch, we have nothing to look forward too! i am bummed!

IMO he's not the best match up for Wlad, he has a puncher's chance, that's it. Chagaev and Valuev would both be a much bigger challenge.

Damn. Can we EVER get some positive talk about the HW division? Even after a great fight?

yeah, he is not the best match up.

you should know better than to listen to tv personalities. they have to hype their fighter.

i see chagev doing just a bit better than iggy. valuev would do ok, but i feel his power is not enough, and wlad would beat him to the jab, and win the ud!

yeah he's not a special fighter by any stretch.

But he is very strong and can punch.

Chagaev and Wlad is the best fight probably at the minute
. But I doubt anyone really wants to see that.

I'm openly rooting for David Haye to have an Evander Holyfield type of emergence as a heavyweight. Forget the other guys in the heavyweight division. They are all clumsy, poorly skilled fighters. Haye's got some talent and he can certainly ****. Add 15-20 lbs to his frame and the moment he connects with that glass jaw of Klitschko's will be the moment he's the new heavyweight champion.

I want to see Chagaev vs Valuev first.
I predict it will be a dull close fight and neither fighter will look good coming out of it but if either of them wins decisively then it'd be a big victory.

I don't see an aging, injured Vitali ruining Peter's plans of fighting Wladimir but Vitali is tough and he can punch, even if he doesn't have anything else left he could still give Peter a tough fight. If Peter wins, then a fight with Wladimir is automatically set up.

So it's either Peter or Chagaev for me depending on how they do in their next fights.
