Cuts happen, that's boxing. It's unfortunate for Diaz but a champion needs to fight on. I could say that Jersey Joe Walcott would've won if he didn't catch a suzy q on the chin from Rocky Marciano, but guess what, it happened. **** happens, like getting cut. Experience tells, and Campbell showed he was the more experienced fighter.

If Diaz feels he got a raw deal, he should take a rematch. I doubt the fight would turn different unless Juan Diaz can find a way to learn from his mistakes. Personally, I think he's beaten as much mentally as he is physically.

And he deserves credit for it. Not the low class Bozo who created this thread. He was exposed as a fraud.

I understand fighters need to fight on. I dont think Diaz had ever experienced a cut so it was new territory for him, he did not know how to handle it. I dont think he made any serious mistakes, when you panic or react wrong to something you didnt expect to happen it changes you and you do different things. I think you just say to your self you got to cover the eye.

I feel that if Juan Diaz had fought better fighters than Angulo and Irwin and dead bodies like Julio Diaz and Freitas, he'd have progressed with controlled adversity and would've learned how to handle those kind of situations.

I'm looking at Henry Armstrong and Marciano, guys who came up the hard way, as examples of how to deal with cuts and adversity.

He had sound reasoning for making the pick. And anyways, it's like if two guys hit the Pick-6 at the race track. The guy who picks his lucky numbers gets just as much money as the guy who stayed up all night studying the racing form. It all comes down to winners and losers. I'm kicking myself for not taking the generous odds they were giving on Nate.

You'd have a great argument if I didn't give any reasoning behind me picking Nate Campbell. Hell, I knew Jerson Ravelo for years but I didn't think he'd beat Allan Green. This is coming from a guy who came from his neighborhood and has had issues with Allan Green in the past.

I've spoken more with Steve Forbes than Campbell, do you see me picking Forbes over De La Hoya? I enjoy Dmitriy Salita's company, he's a great example of how a human being should be. Do I think he beats Ricky Hatton? No way. Do I think he beats Edgar Santana? No way.

Instead, I was up in the threads every day putting my reputation on the line picking a 7-1 underdog to outclass an incumbent champion. I take things like that very seriously. I stuck to my guns, never wavered, and was vindicated in the end. Why try to discredit and disrespect me like that?
