Seems like you picked both guys so you couldn't lose. I guess that's a good way to go on about these things.

I wonder how easy Campbell would have had it, had Diaz not been cut...

I wouldn't go that far my man. Diaz looks all but done in by this guy. Diaz wasn't just outslicked, he was thoroughly beaten up. I'm sorry to say it but he went 33 fights without fighting a guy he wasn't supposed to beat. That can soften a guy up (see Ricky Hatton).

The thread maker is being very harsh. It was a tough pick for a lot of people because they hadn't seen Campbell probably. I don't blame people for not seeing what some saw as a stylistic disadvantage for the favorite.

The last time I picked an underdog was Collazo-Hatton. There are some styles that a pressure fighter cannot contend with. If Juan Diaz fought Nate Campbell 100 times, he'd always have hell with Diaz.

I personally never thought Diaz had a chance in this fight, but then again, I live in Florida and see Campbell in the gyms and in fights a lot.

I agree with this about a majority of people on here......

Especially those that pay to see Winky, Taylor and B-Hop Fight. Instead of Kessler, Calzaghe, Mundine and Bute. Anyway...

Great pick!!! props to you for picking Campbell. Then again, you lost all your points by being an arrogant ass. You got lucky, get over it.

i give campbell credit he won. He is now champ, but people think the cut was just a little scratch no big deal, if theres no cut this fight would be much much different. He coudlnt see, he had to protect his eye instead instead of trying to throw punches. Any moment the fight could have been stopped.

Sorry, but I saw Gatti win with a broken hand and Vitali soldier on with a far worse cut. At the Championship level, one wouldnt expect a cut to cause such a total and sudden collapse.
