I was impressed how well Maskaev could take punches. I guess chin's can improve after all.

But it wasn't really competitive aside from a few good punches from Maskaev. Peter was too young and too strong for the older man. He looked much better than against McCline.

The rabbit punches were still there though...

8 rabbit punches through six rounds.

ref warned him, what, once or twice?

oleg shouldn't have been worrying about that in the midst of a peters flurry though.

            The KO wasn't exciting.

Rabbit punches.. THat's all I seen.

                Damn Maskeav!

Fighters should learn how to take a ****ing knee or move your head man! Maskeav didn't even clinch when he took the right hand!! What are they teaching him!!

it was a more exciting fight than Klitschko-Ibragimov. Honest, it was better than I thought it would be.

Sam Peter needs to fight Virchis to determin who the most plodding fighter in boxing is. its a close one...

Good performance from Peter, quite an improved fighter. That chopping right he caught Maskaev with against the ropes was punishing. Credit to Maskaev though, he's a cagey veteran and when that Peter rush mounted I thought he might actually survive, covering up well and oddly even taking a moment to complain to the referee about a rabbit punch in the midst of the flurry. Peter broke through viciously though, sound stoppage.
