i think you gotta problem distinguishing "****yness" from "Confidence"
don't worry, 85% of the planet suffers from that same illness!!!

And as far as the guys bumpin heads...they fought at close quarters all night so heads will ****!!! itz part of the game! Diaz got beat up by and grand pa' a decade older than him, and thatz not cool! Campbell talked it then walked it like a champ, like i guy who been there before!

Give the man credit (Cambell). No excuses needs to be made for Diaz. He fought the fight of his life.

At the age of 35 and being a grandfather, he beat a young unbeaten tough fighter that was in his prime and was the recognized lightweight champion. What you seen wasn't dirty fighting, it was called brilliance and experience. He knew that the young Juan Diaz had never been in any rugged fights like that so he gave him his first test, and he failed. Hopefully he will take this experience and learn from it to become a better well rounded fighter.

He deserved the decision but I still wonder what the fight would've been like if Juan had not been cut in the sixth round by a headbutt.
Quit bitchin. Give the journey man credit for **** sake. JD lost to a better man.

I disagree, head butts were accidental due to their styles and their idea of pushing the other man back. If anything I saw an elbow here and there more than head butts, Campbell is a true veteran.

This is what I feel as well. I don't think either fighter was using dirty tactics. As you said, when you fight inside like that these things are going to happen.

In any case, I thought both boxers fought a great fight.

That headbutt seemed intentional in the first round, an old veteran trick. Plus he came off as a real unpersonable *******, but that doesnt matter so much.

If someone headbutts me intentionaly I would headbutt right back. I have to eat my words because in another thread I stated that campbell would never be champion. I stand corrected. JD put up a brave fight, but that legally open eye did him in.

Exactly! I rewatched the fight today and in rounds 3 and 4 you can really see Juan using his elbow to create room like Mayweather does.

And they were both trying to slug at each other so of course their heads would come together.
