Samuel Peters key to his power

I was looking over alot of his fights and he tends to jab consecutively and force the opponent to turn their head when this happens he unloads his big right and hopefully puts them away. The knockout he is most famous for the Jeremy Williams one was different it was more about Peters looking away and Jeremy thinking Peter could do nothing in that position the his Left hook unloads he also does this alot he crouches turns slightly and unloads his left. He looks as if he isn't it a position to fire and catches them unaware.

It isn't so much his power is more about hitting them when they don't expect and instead of waiting for an opening he creates them.

This is just what i have observed. Any thoughts?

1 ko in his last 6 fights and going the distance with Robert Hawkins (who Maskaev ko'ed in 4) makes me su****ious about his power.

Yeah he also fought James Toney (Who's never been close to being knocked out) Mccline who is huge, and isn't the easiest guy to knock out either lol, Not to mention Wlad rose from the canvas 3 times to obviously use his superior boxing skill and close the show.

In reality the Hawkins fight was a suckjob, but that's really the only fight of the last six where you can question his power based on his opponent's capacity.

I mean he did fight Toney two times.

Yeah, I will agree about Toney but then there's Charles Shufford.
Peter has power. I just think the Williams knock out made it seem like it was otherworldly and it's not.
It's pretty good though just not great.

Yes bad streak and that stems from pure match making.

I agree that it's not uber punching power like shavers or in a P4P sense McClellan or Jackson. He has the heavy handedness that you can clearly see/hear. The sound his gloves make when he lands a punch........resembles a bass drum. And they must be hurting the other guy, lol I mean seriously.

peters needs to be better conditioned when he fights and he'd be a hell of a lot better, he has some skills, ok power, good chin/heart.

WTF are you serious? What, you define skill by being 7 ft tall and using the jab and the ocasional right hand? How's that skill?
