Gomez has a slight chance....because he is a warrior and he goes toe to toe with fighters. But his weakness is... he is not a powerful puncher. Now cotto loves going toe to toe as well but he is one hell of a puncher, and that will be gomez downfall. His jab alone will make think twice about throwing a right hand. (just ask Sugar Shane). People forget that he is left handed and fights right handed just like de la hoya and thats what makes his jab so powerful and not to mention his left hook to the body. Also I keep hearing that gomez is bigger guy, don't forget that cotto was very overweight when he was growing up, thats why he took up boxing. He has very heavy bones because of his bone structure and again ask Sugar Shane. Notice in the cotto vs mosley fight sugar tried to push and bully cotto but he couldn't he even said it between rounds. I can't remember what round but he said I can't push him he is very heavy.
