Yupp i agree.. I scored the 12th round 10-7 for vasquez. I dont see how peaple keep scoring it a 10-8? it was a 10-8 with out the knock down and... 10-7 with the knockdown

i agree 100% the fight could have been stopped in the 12th. but marquez very easily won the first 4 rounds i think. with that jab. than of course the knockdown in the 4th. i dont like showtimes comentary though. i turned the sound off. HBO commentary is so much better. awsome ass fight though.

Marquez IMO didnt win the first four easily the first three rounds were close However the champion pressed the fight and came forward making it a fight towards the later rounds of which usually the champion gets the benifit of the doubt in close rounds especially if he is the agressor

Quite a few rounds were really close and could have gone either way. I think Vazquez did enough in the second half of the fight to get him the win. Not by much though. Marquez was very unlucky with the point deduction and the knock down right at the end of the fight.

I just watched the III fight between Marquez and Vazquez Marquez was robbed. It was a knockdown in the 12th bc the ropes held him up. but Marquez jab was the focus of his offense. It was a great fight though. Its early in the year but that fight will be hard to beat for FOY. Maybe round of the year for vazquez. But Marquez was robbed. What does everyone else think i havnt seen any threads on this fight havnt been on in awhile.

I scored round 10 9-9 i thought marquez was winning the round when the point was taken away. and a 10-8 round for vazquez in the 12th.

Before the scores were read, I was telling myself that marquez will probably get the decision, but vazquez is the better fighter.

I watched the fight scoring it for the first time yesterday, and i most say i do think marquez deserved the decision as well....you could easily give him 8 rounds to 3 with 1 even....while the best it could eb for vazquez imo was a 113-112 if you gave him every benefit of the doubt and a 10-7 round at the end

vazquez is not a better fighter...just stronger-bigger...and very difficult for a 122lb marquez

I think Marquez has the sharper boxing skills but like you said Vazquez is the better fighter. Vazquez wanted it more and the 12th round proved it.
