i think zab has the more natural talent ..and if he was trained and hadthe brains and discipline of mayweather he would be far superior

It takes a different mentality to be a championship boxer

The man comes out and kills his opponets with his abilites and as soon as one thing doesnt go his way he curls up in the fetal position and dies. He is like a cry baby bully once you stand up to him you find out he aint nothing but a *****. Anyway sorry for this post I just had an arguement with a friend about zab so I felt Like telling you all something you already knew. peace.

Tszyu knocked him the **** out with one punch. What does that have to do with his mentality? It's more about his chin. Saying he would have beaten these guys, who are all better fighters, is pure fantasy.

Completely agree with this. Also, why did Baldomir beat him? Judah got hurt bad and couldn't do anything after the 7th round. Cotto systematically broke him down then stopped him.
Woulda coulda shoulda is fine and dandy but 2-3-1 in his last 6 fights speaks volumes. And the two he beat are probably better known in Thailand or the West Indies then here.
People also say woulda coulda shoulda about Emmanuel Augustus but there's those 29 losses or so to consider.

If I was Zab, to get some legacy back I would beat Mosley and then start trying to get some rematches in.

Legacy? He beat Spinks I will give him that...he also lost to him. He beat Terron Millet, Reggie Green, etc,

Tried to unify and step up and got smoked.

Why do people use the word skill and Zab in the same sentence so much. Im sure he has it but he doesnt show it in the ring. Zab is basically a one-handed fighter for the most part, he does nothing consistently and has a pourous defense. He doesnt put punches together much either. I think people are just mesmerized by his speed, but if you know anything about boxing, you wont win every fight on speed.

? he got overconfident, thats mental. He's a simpleton. He's just athletic, and flashy in the ring, but its not effective, you cant consider zab a smart fighter.

That was the wrong word, should've put respect or name back. To get some respect or a big name back that's what he should do...

In my eyes, he got countered with a perfectly timed right cross and got wiped out. You're right, Zab's not much from the neck up, but if you accept that excuse in the Zoo fight then you have to accept it in every other one punch KO in boxing.
