    Anthony Mundine vs top SMW's/MW & LHW's

do you guys overseas rate anthony mundine as a serious force in the SMW division? do you think he could beat, say edison miranda who is moving up to SMW or pavlik when he comes up? how do you think he would go now against kessler who he lost to by UD a while back, or even calzaghe? just curious how ppl overseas think of him

      Hes pretty good.

He would give Pavlik a good fight, Taylor too.

But was outclassed by Kessler and is not even in the same galaxy as Calzaghe.

Good enough to win a token belt the scraps Kessler and Pavlik will leave.

Calzaghe would no doubt stop him late due to volumeslapping. I dont, however, think that JoeC will fight at SMW again.

An 80% Kessler outclassed him in his backyard last time. Mundine will be kayoed big time should they ever meet again.

At the moment I think Mundine would do well against the other top SMW like Bute or the german contenders.

Lacy is finished with that shoulder so that should be no problem either.

Bika is kinda dirty. I dont know how Mundine would react to that, but I think he would come out on top.

Hail SMW. Best division in boxing!

hmm good feedback i do think he could give kessler a go, but would be overwhlemed by calzaghe. he could take miranda and pavlik to school easy i rekon, you have to remember the guy started pro boxing at age 25 with no prior experience (although he had done some training and his dad was a world class middleweight in the 70's who fought carlos monzon) after a short but fairly successful career in the NRL. he was also considering a career in the aussie basketball league, the guy is a fantastic athlete no doubt about it

I know about his dad. It's a good story.

Against Pavlik I dont think he stands a chance. I will be a knockout for Kelly, and Taylor would outbox him. Thats my take anyway.

(Gimme some green if you liked the feedback mate....)

Mundine doesn't have the heart to succeed.

He has the natural ability to. Style wise i think he would give Calzaghe his closest fight and loose by 2 rounds. I think he can beat Kessler in a rematch. I think he stops Sakio, Froch, Inkin etc ect. He would UD Miranda and Taylor. But probably loose a UD to Pavlik.

Mundine is severely under rated. But its because he fights no bodies and is not known in the USA. A fast jab, good defence, good one punch power, great combos. Thats about all i need to say.

P.S When he fought Kessler he gave Kessler his closest fight since Calzaghe. I had him loosing by 3 rounds on my cards. And it wasn't because Kessler won it, it was more because Mundine lost it and went ultra defensive.

Write this guy out at your own cost. He is blooming late in his pro career. And believe me anything is possible.

Khoder Nasser, his manager is ****ed though. Seriously the guy pisses me off.

hmm well kelly is a big puncher and mundine doesnt exactly have a great chin, a bit above average maybe but mundine has a very exuberant and athletic style he's loose and fast moves his head and hands well throws quality punches and he can really **** when he sits down on them, after all he stopped sam soliman who came 3rd on the contender and who had never been stopped before (lost a UD to winky in '05, and apparently gave him a hell of a fight on very short notice) so i do think he could take pavlik who, although very powerful good jab etc... wouldnt be able to sustain pressure on a loose fleet footed guy like anthony......taylor and mundine is a different style matchup and would probably be very close....slight edge to jermain
