Mine was David Ried. If only boxing had more fighters like him. It is unbelievable to think that with only 14 fights he fought Trinidad. He was beating Trinidad, but all of Trinidad's low blows caught up to him. Then there was the left hook that was the beginning of the end for David. After the\ left hook after the bell he was never the same and his career when into shambles. I wish more fighters would do as much at such a short time in the ring. Also i liked Davey Moore, but Duran put a whoopin on him, then his career was over. He was never the same after the Duran beating, then he died in a freakish way. A car with no one inside rolled backed and ran over him, then drug him down hill. Those are my 2 favorite that didnt get to fulfill their talents.
Who is your favorite fighter whose career end too soon?

yeah, he was one of mine too. him and ried were fighting good fighters with under 18 fights. Marquez, beat Yori Boy with only 15 fights. Winky wright, Quartey. I grew up watching these guys fight. thats why it is hard for me to respect guys like cotto and khan and other fighters that are so protected. they have so many fights, but fight people past their prime. and with 30 fights still havent done ****.Comment
