Calzaghe has at least fought Brewer and Echols. Lacy has never faced a puncher. He's a paper champion. Syd Vanderpool is a decent fighter but hardly a world beater. Who did either of them beat to "earn" their world title shot????

Lacy was getting outboxed by Donnell Wiggins. Wiggins isnt exactly a talent. the second lacy fights someone with a half decent punch he'll be stretched. He's just lucky he's in a **** division.

Dude, Lacy is a decent fighter at best. He proved he had a little bit of a chin in the Vanderpool fight, since he was getting outclassed and hit alot until Syd ran out of gas. I think even Pazienza would still have a chance of beating him. He's winning, but not by much, and he'll have to tighten his defense up or he'll end up on his back. Only time will tell what fate holds for young Lacy.

Calzaghe is basically inactive. That's his greatest flaw at the moment. But at least he beat two former legitmiate world champions in Charles Brewer, who can punch like hell, and Byron Mitchell, whose not great but whose a very good puncher. I know Calzaghe has a chin. He proved it vs. Brewer because he took some hard shots. Every bit as hard as what Lacy will hit him with. But can Lacy take that kind of a punch? I doubt it. He hasnt fought an A-level world class fighter ever. He hasn't fought anyone close to that level. Get real he's a paper champion

i think lacy and calzaghe would be a good fight, for calzaghe that is, lacy is over rated more than joe is

people will always say a champ is over rated when in a division empty of talent, however, i dont see lacy giving joe any problems

the only problems joe wopuld have is stayin a super middleweight and not a light heavy, he has admitted he is having problems keepin to the limit these days

i want to see him move up and kick johnsons arse along with tarver in a spoof tag team match

cause tarver and johnson both beat a shot jones junior and joe could take them both
