      Why and how did Shields break his leg? Did he forget he's in Cancon for a big fight featuring his fighter? He should have partied after the Diaz match. Still i think Diaz will do great, but Campbell will be a tough guy to crack.

          Diaz is cursed! Just before his last fight versus Julio, his cutman, Joe Souza, fell and broke his hip.

          Actually, this is Karma at play. Derwin did a great job getting Juan ready for the Julio fight and worked the corner without getting the type of credit that Shields does. This fight, he was to resume his 2nd role, but now he gets to work the corner.. Things happen for a reason.

          Ronnie will still be ringside giving advice, so there really shouldnt be any dropoff..

          The person this could impact the most is Chris Henry. He's scheduled to fight Diaconu for the WBC title 4/19. Shields certainly cannot lead pad work now, but hopefully will be healed by then to work the corner in Romania.

            good point, bring back Bobby Benton? Or who else is in his corner? Jay,Tim Derwin?
