The 13th round. I doesn't seem logical to me to have 12. Can't you avoid the possibility of a draw if the number of rounds is an odd number? I know we will never go back to 15.. But at least give us one more round!
One More Round!!

Only if the crowd starts chanting it at the end of a fight. Kind of like at the end of a concert when the crowd starts yelling for the encore. I think they should do dem ****s. Both fighters have to agree to a clause in their contract stating the rule too.Comment

in boxing, i dont think it's a good idea to leave the rules up to the crowd. it works at concerts because everybody is a fan of the same band. in boxing, there are two sides to cheer for. but making a clause about a 13th round incase of a draw sounds good.Comment

By the time they announce the scorecards the fighters have already taken their gloves off though. I think it would have to be for every bout.Comment

It doesn't guarantee anything. An even round, a knockdown, or a point deduction could all nullify any round adjustment to avoid a draw. Personally I don't think a draw is a bad thing if the fight is truly even.Comment
