Boxing in the States ,Tradition ,History,

if i where a proffesional fighter i would love nothing more than to come to the states and fight in venues where some of my heroes fought and enjoyed some of thier biggest success ,America is a place steaped in Boxing History it really is a place where legends are made cause that is where u get the most attention & Star status if u become successfull ,it is a main stream sport in America so u get recieved better by the general public & u can become a house hold name etc

Boxing in the states really is a special place to fight ,Hatton recognised this & seems to have lived his dream of topping the bill in Las Vegas etc ,il bet Joe Calzaghe will regret not fighting in the states before once he experiences it for the 1st time agaisnt B Hop

im not sucking up here this is just the way i feel about Boxing in the states ,BTW i disagree with Americans who dismiss other fighters who have not fought in the states ,its the experience etc im talking about the Buzz of fighting over there

While fighting in america would be cool I would prefer the fight either at wembley stadium or the millenium stadium imagine 40000 of your fans cheering you on.

You make the exact point I have been making on here. I don't dissmiss fighter's outside of the US but in America, it's where the money is to be made and where the greatest fight's have taken place.

It's kind of like if you want to play the best futbol (soccer) in the world, you go to Europe, plain and simple.

What makes the US such a great country and it's ability to have given the world so much in so little time, is because of the system. It's not because American's are smarter than every other group of people, or we have the best scientist's, doctor's , teacher's, ect. It's because capitalism make for great competition. The more money you put into something, the better quality athlete's, entrepreneur's, doctor's, technology ect.

People from around the world come to the US to become incredibly successful because they weren't able to find the same opportunity in their home countries. I don't think a better system exist's anywhere in the world...period.

Athletics are no different and if a foreign fighter wants to make it big or make the money, you have to come state side my friends.
