i give floyd a little more credit than most here do when it comes to hatton...

sure hatton had no business at 147 but its not like PBF was THE killer at that weight...i know for a fact that i wasnt the only one wanting that fight to happen at 140 a few years back...and to see him stop hatton in exciting fashion, he needs his props for that win

Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton, at the times and weights that Floyd fought them at, would both have beaten Jose Luis Castillo in his prime.

here is the pathetic list of opponents:

            victoriano sosa: who??
            phillip ndou: who??
chop chop corley: everyone beats this bum
            henry bruseles: who??
            arturo gatti: overrated bum
sharmba mitchell: washed up and dont belong at welterweight
zab judah: lossed to baldomir and lost every big fight of his career
            carlos baldomir: no explanation needed
oscar de la hoya: washed up and hasnt won a significant fight in 6 years
ricky hatton: has no business at 147 and he is overrated
doesnt matter who he fights he's gonna fight his fight & win...& if margo. beats Clottey(which i highly doubt) then Floyd would come out & put a spankin on him too...

Mayweather never even fought a WW ranked within the top 10 after getting the belt from baldomir... pickings got slim DLH WWE Hatton couldnt move up in weight class anymore so had to go into hiding untill he felt safe it was to come out and fight another non WW fighter.

Would you turn away from a potential fight with Oscar De La Hoya?

Cotto had just fought Shane...so Floyd fought an undefeated fighter who people had wanted to see him fight for years...

Hatton may be better than 2002 Castillo and I'd favor Oscar to beat Castillo at any weight...
