Toss up between Pernell and Floyd.. but wasnt Pernell past his prime when they fought? If thats the case, Id have to say Floyd.

I'm confused as to whether this is the best when they fought or just the best in general? It's an incredible list and just shows that Oscar truly fought all the best fighters of the last few decades.

Anyway, I thought we were talking about the best in general, so I picked Sweet Pea.

Its tough to say but im going to have to go with floyd mayweather jr.

i think overall floyd has to be at least in the top 3.

you can put mayweather in the conversation easily.

Sad thing is oscar almost had him beat but lost it on account (i believe) of his age...he's slowing down...

hopefully he can do something great in the rematch to further prove many peoples (including mine) preception as one of the "best fighters of his era".

he in my opinion is one of the best of his time...there are others i put up there with him (shane mosley; hopkins; mayweather; etc.).

there were a lot of good fighters in that list and I haven't seen all those fights so I can't pass complete judgement however I would say floyd mayweather is the best person I have seen DLH fight.
