Yeah but a lot of people are rating Witter above Hatton, because they perceive that Ricky is ducking him. A lot of those same people won't rate Cotto above Floyd even though the same situation exists there.

People who rate or pick Witter above Hatton are doing so because of Witter's style not because he is better or more succesful than hatton, I personally think Witter would KO Hatton but thats only my opinion, Hatton ducking and using his Lawyer and fans to duck the fight might give some people a reason to think Hatton genuinely fears Witter.

I will say that Witter is a fairly risky fight right now for Hatton, with not a whole lot of reward. And probably the dumbest fight he can take after a devastating KO loss. (Roy Jones Jr vs Glen Johnson anyone?)

I also think it would be a dumb fight to take at the moment because its a high risky fight, Not only are they domestic rivals but they have a history dating back 8 years now.

if you were a real boxing fan you wouldnt care. you would be asking who would give the fans the more exciting fight and who has the best chance of beating mayweather and the answer is clearly cotto.
