I think that once it becomes clear Malinaggi is in line to get stopped.. which i guess will happen in around the 5th round. Malinaggi gets on his bicycle and rides. Rides so hard that HBO won't be televising him again for quite some time. He won't be as clumsy and ineffective as he was with Ngoudju but I still don't think he'll have enough.

This is not much of a fight....Hatton kills Malinaggi, who should spend his entire career fighting on ESPN2.
Pauli PowerPuff does not belong in the same ring...

i see hatton stopping him aroung 6 or 7. he is fast enough to put pressure on him all night and pauile does't have the power to keep hatton off him..

Great post mate, I havent seen that Hatton since 2004(Pre-tyszu), That Hatton actually box and goes to the body, Throw alot of punches but since the tyszu fight he seem to maul,Hug and cling too much.

Maybe it has something to do with the higher level of opposition or Maybe he needs a new trainer but something needs to change and quick i might say.

No matter what you say about Paulie M the guy has heart and guts, He fought a Cotto that weight 160 onn fight night, Got KD and got up to trade instead of his usual boxing from the outside, So if Cotto couldnt KO Paulie M i would be very suprise if Hatton does it.

Paulie hugged and clinched his way through that fight. Anyone but Smoger would have intervened with all Paulie's grappling. They won't allow those shennanigans with Ricky this time.

Yeah of course he was clinging did you see the size of the gash above his eye? The thing was f***** huge, probally worse than Duddy's recent cut, he couldnt even see out of his right eye. You've also gotta take into account the size of the ring at MSG. Malingnaggi had a different plan in mind going in but once he got there and saw how small it was he had to change last minuite and decided to just try and cling more and go to the body (which with cotto usaully doesn't work). He compleatly rocked cotto in the 10th round or so, almost knocking him down, and nobody can disagree hes probally one of the toughest fighers in boxing. After the fight the entire side of his face was compleatly swolen and he jaw was broken and had to spend the rest of the night at the hospital after he was assesed at the post fight physical. The guys got heart, balls, skill, and speed and came extreamtly close to winning that fight. He took a massive beating and was still going strong in the last round. I'm not saying he could definatly beat Hatton, but theres definatly a chance. I would like to see Paulie fight somebody similar to him in speed, mabye somebody like Judah or Mosley. He's a ****y SOB but hes not a bull****ter and is able to back up what he says.

Malignaggi is my favourite fighter. I like his heart, guts, speed, style and swagger. The guy has great confidence and like said above, he can back it up. I think he is quicker then Hatton, Hatton is stronger but also very quick and it will be a interesting match up and i look forward to these to getting it on. Will be a great event when Hatton fights Lazcano, if Maglignaggi is on the undercard, would build up a great event for Malignaggi/Hatton at most likely Madison Square Garden.
