  • How to Succeed at BoxingScene.com!!

Struggling to make your mark on the world's biggest boxing forum?

Tired of making very few points?

    Suicidal becuase of vicious pwns?

Bemused as to why people ignore you and your threads?

No need to worry anymore, "How to Succeed at BoxingScene.com" is here to ensure your internet life is nothing like your real one.

    Thread topics

    i. As you may have noticed, 85% of BS threads topics are about Floyd Mayweather (the other 15% are comprised of Miguel Cotto is ducking Floyd Mayweather threads).

Yes I know what you're thinking, "here's my opportunity to inject a new topic of conversation into the forum, and gain thousands of points!" Wrong! never post a thread that is in anyway interesting, intellectual or has anything to do with other boxers. These kind of threads will get few views and even less replies (and you're likely to receive read Karma for your troubles).

Instead post a thread that may look slightly different to the ones being posted but it is in fact a carbon copy. For example if the hot thread of the day is "Floyd is ducking Cotto because Roger Mayweather's son spars an oven" simply change the title to "Floyd is ducking Cotto because Roger Mayweather's son spars an oven that is made in Puerto Rico". This kind of well thought strategy will gain you thousands of views and replies.

ii. Do not post any threads that refer to other boxers (especially any of the obscure ones that don't hold an alphabet title). Most of the BS clientele do not know any boxers except Cotto and Mayweather, you may get away with the odd De La Hoya thread, but it's not worth the risk.

iii. Use plenty of buzzwords in your thread title. Like a deft marketing executive you must capitalize on popular phrases and buzzwords. While scrolling through the boards, look for a word that has been used more than three times and you're more than likely on to a winner. Popular words such as "war (followed by a fighters name), flashy, lifestyle flashy, money or indeed any other word that is spouted by Mayweather. Cotto buzzwords are a little more difficult to utilize seeing as though he hasn't spoke since RoboCop2.

    Pwnage

If you are reading this you probably have been the victim of a pwn. There are only two pieces of advice for pwns.

    i. Do not attempt a pwn unless you have an iq over 100 and/or you can speak English. If you have neither of these requisites you will end up pwning yourself like most of the BS users.

ii. Do not attempt to pwn somebody who has an iq over 100 and/or can speak English. Chances are they will pwn you.

    To be continued............................
