Ali did a lot more ass kicking than Floyd has done and probably will do.

Vegas ***elers file lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
By Christina Almeida, The Associated Press
LAS VEGAS — A ***elry company has sued Floyd Mayweather Jr., claiming the world champion boxer owes tens of thousands of dollars for a number of custom pieces, including a diamond-encrusted belt buckle bearing his name.

***elers of Las Vegas filed the lawsuit this week in Clark County District Court, claiming breach of contract. Mayweather has an unpaid bill of $124,000 for more than 20 pieces of ***elry purchased from the store since June 2004, according to the lawsuit.

Lawyer Frank Cremen, who represents the ***eler, said Mayweather promised on a number of occasions to make the account current, but the "running balance has gotten excessive."

"The account is fairly sizable, and he has just not paid it off," Cremen said.

Mayweather, who grew up in Grand Rapids, Mich. but lives and trains in Las Vegas, could not be reached for comment. Messages were left Thursday and Friday for his lawyer.

Mayweather, who is undefeated in 34 fights, took the WBC 140-pound title from Arturo Gatti during a bout last month in Atlantic City He previously won the WBC super featherweight and lightweight belts.

Leor Yerushalmi, vice president of ***elers of Las Vegas, said Mayweather promised to pay off the balance after a bout with DeMarcus Corley last year and after the Gatti fight. Instead, Mayweather asked to return some custom pieces, including the belt buckle and dog tags encrusted with white and yellow diamonds.

Yerushalmi said his company was willing to accept the items and give Mayweather credit toward future purchases, but wanted the balance paid. When Mayweather failed to do so, the company filed suit.

"I was left with no other option," Yerushalmi said. "It's just unfortunate because I considered him a very close friend."

The lawsuit, filed Monday, is the latest legal battle facing the 28-year-old boxer. He is scheduled for trial Tuesday on three felony charges stemming from a December 2003 incident in which he is accused of striking the mother of his three children at a Las Vegas nightclub.

In February, Mayweather was fined and ordered to perform community service after pleading no contest in Grand Rapids to a charge of misdemeanor assault and battery for a bar fight.

Mayweather, who grew up in Grand Rapids, lives and trains in Las Vegas.

Last year, Mayweather was convicted of misdemeanor battery stemming from a fight with two women inside a Las Vegas nightclub. He received a suspended one-year jail sentence and was ordered to undergo "impulse-control" counseling.

It means that Ali had a reputation of being a badass even though he did some dancing because at some point he always went for the KO. Floyd has a reputation of being a ducker and coward.

Mayweather has no opinion on anything in that last movie. Or he's too afraid to say it. That was some generic bull**** if I've ever heard generic bull****.

i think floyd is confused about who he is. let's face it there are bad ass mother****ing fighters out there who are really bad such as tyson, mayorga, bhop, etc who are really bad. they are what villains represents in and out of the ring no matter what win or lose they would trash talk and do crazy ****. then there are humble and good fighters such as delahoya, pacquiao, pavlik, etc who doesn't need to say bad or do anything bad but when they get in the ring they are mean mother****ers when it comes to knocking out opponents. still they stay humble and calm. unlike mayweather who doesn't know what the **** he should be in front of cameras or outside the boxing ring. i know he has got the skills but damn he sure is confused. also i haven't really seen him with a young hungry fighter who also has the skills. sometimes u would see him acting like an immature kid, on the other one he acts like he is all bad ass, then u see him try to be humble. well that would really make people confused. all i can say is that a great man doesn't need to do ****** acts just to get people's attention if u are great people will come to you.

I Don't Hate Floyd, I Just Think He's Fake, And Full Of **** About Everything. Floyds Not A Thug/gangster, But Likes To Think He Is. In Post Fight Stare Downs He Says ****** ****. Things Such As Threats Of Beatings He's Gonna Give, But Rarely Delivers, And Dances Or Runs In Fights. All This Flashy Bigg Tough Guy Act Is Just That, An Act. In Other Words "fake". Imo Floyd Could Have Been Bigg, Bigger Then Oscar. Floyd Has The Style And Most Importantly, That All American Smile. Too Bad Everything That Is Good About The Man Is Hidden And Outshined By The Bling And Fake Bull****.
