Hey HW Champions Give David Tua a Chance!!

Is there any reason why any of these new Heavyweights Champs are scared to give David Tua another chance for the the belt maybe not for the belt?

Probably because he hasn't fought a contender in like 5 years. Tua overprices himself, which is why he isn't fighting Cris Arreola on HBO. He needs to earn a title shot.

David Tua hasn't fought even a fringe contender since Hasim Rahman in March 2003, five years ago. He can't expect a title shot fighting opponents like Cerrone Fox.

Especially when he is not a former champ, who sometimes get preferencial treatment. Even big George had to fight 20 something guys before he was given another crack.

Fighting tomato cans is NOT going to get you a title shot, no matter how entertaining a fight between Peter/Tua would be, among other matchups. Him and Wlad would just be a repeat of Lewis/Tua.

i went to the Fox fight, it was pitiful. im gonna post the vid just cause Fox is the worst fighter ive ever seen... its funny on the video the broadcasters are clearly going out of their way to make Fox sound like hes a solid fighter. "A real live opponent" lol

It's pretty sad when Tye Fields would be a huge step up for Tua at this point.

Agreed. Tua hasnt **** in years. Cant even remember the last time he's won a significant fight. A fight against Wladimir would just be an embarrasment. Talk about a boring fight....

tua against wlad would probably be boring, but id like to see him against sam peter, or chagaev, or maybe ibragimov. someone that isnt real tall. tua brings an exciting fight when he can dictate the pace.

                    Video

That guy swung at Tua like a drunk swatting at a bee..

LOL at how they start saying "tua has answered a lot of questions" at like 40 seconds into the fight!!

Fights like these are the reason that tua deserves NOTHING!
that and the disgraceful performance against a decent fighter name Lennox Lewis..

Tua is (right now) a bum.
