Boxing Getting Big In The UK

We have been having some big fights over here, Large live crowds viewing figures are getting bigger on TV, we have boxing on free TV, We have more kids doing amateur boxing and lots more schemes to get kids into the sport. I have heard all this talk about the sport dying over in America but over here it is starting to get big again. And I think the future is bright for British boxing.

well if your from america you probably wont be interested in khan and Carl Froch

We alway had the potential to be a big country in terms of boxing, The problem is America had the fame,Glamour and Money when it comes to boxing.
But am glad we have a better future at the moment..In 2004 only Amir khan qualified to represent the U.K at the olympics but right now we have 5 boxers who have quaified already with another 7 in the final of their respectitive weight class..The future is really bright.

The UK has a great fighter in Joe Calzaghe, and a lot of very good ones like Woods, Maccarinelli, Haye, Hatton, Froch and Khan. So it's not surprising boxing is doing well there.

no doubt its getting big here. if only bbc and itv would show more fights it would be even bigger.
