The problem is, as well as Hopkins counters, Joe will not be throwing nearly the usual amount of punches in this fight. Winky and Sweet Pea, to name two, did pretty darn good with their defence and a good jab.

I'd like to see how well Joe can fight against someone who will give him different looks and movement. Not like Kessler who's gonna be there who you can find. I think Bernard will find a way to outsmart and beat him.

I agree that Hopkins might have to change his shorts between rounds but it's going too far if he comes out in a formal ball gown. Then maybe some kind of cowboy outfit.
Look out for the swimsuit competition.

Hopkins is too old. He's wily but Joe is going to flurry from range all night. Hopkins work rate is too low and Joe has a granite chin. It might get messy but Joe will win on points.

I'll give immense credit to Hopkins if he pulls out a clear victory.

In the first place, Holyfield is brain dead. In the second place, he is promoting his Tyson fight and has to get in front of the public somehow....

Yes Hopkins does throw counter punches but that is easy to do when you have a guy who throws one or two shots, when you have someone throwing as many shots as joe will in this fight, those counter opportunites will be far and few inbetween.
Holyfield throws counters to, but look at how well he was able to counter the likes of James Toney, who threw loads of shots at Evander.
Holyfield might be past his better days but he still knows boxing, and knows more than all of us in this forum and all the forums combined.
