Kelly Pavlik's Opponent is Still a Mystery

The decision was suppossed to come down on Monday from Top Rank, but nothing was set as WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik is still without an opponent for June 7 in Atlantic City. The Vindicator reports that Pavlik’s co-manager, Cameron Dunkin, met with Top Rank on Monday to discuss some possible opponents for Pavlik’s June date. [details]

I say fight Sturm, Abraham and Duddy this year then for early 2009 take on Trinidad, Miranda rematch and Jean Pascal. if Pavlik can do this and still be an undefeated champion he will break the Middleweight record for defenses. the Middleweight division other than Pavlik at the moment had nobody because officially Taylor is out and anyone else who could **** with Pavliuk really can't, Pavlik would beat them all. what Kelly needs to do now is eliminate all other Middleweights and stamp his imprimt on Boxing's pound for pound elite fighters.

yeah if bhop manages to beat calzage, which he probally wont then he probally will go on to fight pavlik, but right now I think pavlik should wait and focus more on duddy so we can find out what this guy is really made of...

i hope pavlik fights someone who will go toe to toe with him. taylor did to much backpeddling. he was scared to feel pavliks power.
