I tried my best to decipher the swing rounds.

It depends on what you like. If you favor the crisp accurate punching then you'd lean towards Marquez later in the fight, or Vasquez early. If you're going to score for the workman.........you score rounds for Vasquez late, and Marquez early. That's how the trend was set.

Marquez used the piston jab early and was much busier. Of course the tide turned and Vasquez came on strong from 7-12.

      Although yes it's super difficult.

Because Vasquez stuck to his plan and did find a way inside virtually the entire fight and he was sneaking in the right hands.

It's just hard to ignore the boxing display Rafa put on early for sure.

He looked great at a blown up weight. He showed at moments that he was totally outclassing Vasquez. lol that didn't last long.

When I watched the fight live I had it a draw or Vazuez winning 113-112, but after a second watch I gotta say I think Marquez won 114-111, which I thought was a ridiculous score when I heard them announce it the night of the fight but after rewatching I totally agree with the score, I feel Marquez won the first 6 rounds of the fight, landing the more meaningful punches in them rounds and honestly prolly the more meaningful punches through 11 rounds, when people say Vazquez won the fight alls I hear about is the 12th round but I can't give a guy a win b/c of an amazing round. With that being said I am still not upset with the outcome b/c it was a great fight, can definitley see how someone could score it for Vazquez, just my opinion that Marquez landed the best punches of the fight until round 12, not saying Vazquez wasn't landing shots I just think Marquez was amazing, it's crazy you can look that good in the ring and still lose but that's just how much heart Isreal brought into the ring with him!!!!

I agree with you but I also think that Izzy's underated head movement was going unnoticed throughout the fight. I didn't think that Marqez's jab was hitting the mark as often as they (Albert & Berstein) would have you believe. Izzy's jab was pretty damn effective if you ask me because that's how he was able (in the first half of the fight) to get so close & get his power shots off to the body/head.
