Pavlik let taylor hit him with about 7 consecutive haymakers all flush and all within a minute. Abraham doesn't even have the stamina to throw 7 of his best haymakers. Good try though.

Look, this is Abraham in his second most recent fight. He backs right into the ropes in the very beginning, even into a corner, and his opponent wasnt even really putting on huge amounts of pressure. So I figure he would go into a corner against Pavlik as well.

We all know what happens when someone is inactive against the ropes against Pavlik...its not a good thing. Zertuche, Miranda, Taylor...they can tell you that. That was the best thing Taylor did in the rematch, he stuffed a strong jab into Pavlik's face and stayed far, far away from the ropes...the one time he fell close to them is the one time Pavlik really hurt him too.

so basically...Abraham isnt active enough to keep Pavlik off him, and he is just asking to be knocked out when he runs to the ropes.

yup, very true! i don't see abraham being nearly as good as taylor was in the 2nd fight, and kelly walks him down to a tko in 8!

I predict it will be like the Miranda fight except it will be a bit more dangerous for Pavlik because Abraham's boxing is more polished and he can KO with short punches.

Abraham probably has the same amount of stamina as the weight drained Miranda did so he will run out of stamina early, go to the ropes and take a beating.

Abraham's other opponents let him rest on the ropes but Pavlik won't give him a moment, he goes for the KO for every minute of every round.
