i dont think lewis has a glass jaw , i think he got caught twice in 40 odd fights by decent punches. Nor jones for that matter age and loss of refelxes got him not his jaw..
    Judah yes. Vlad K yes.
tommy hearns as he has been a recurrent theme today.

None of them has a glass jaw in my opinion. Lewis´ and Jones´ actually is quite good. -- I don´t know what was wrong with Jones in last two fights, but he took harder punches without even blinking (Ruiz hit him, Tarver in the first fight, also Sosa, Tate and Hopkins who have been hard punchers at middleweight).

Lewis was hit with perfect punches by McCall and Rahman. Who would´ve survived the same punches ? He took bombs from Bruno, Mercer, Briggs, Holyfield, Vitali, and also Tyson and Tua landed some punches. So whats wrong with his chin?

How about Vernon Forrest? He's the only big fighter so far to go down to Mayorga's throws. Maybe he made Mayorga look better than he really was...Tito could sure take his shots and he had been out of the game for more than two years.

As for Lewis, he did take some good shots but you also can't say that he was the toughest fighter around. Compare him to a guy like Frazier and you'll see the difference.

True, but then again, Mayorga hasn't fought in the middleweight like Tito.

Good point...most fighter can't knock down a thing if they go up too high in the divisions. Forrest just looked terrible against Mayorga, though. When a highly touted fighter gets beat so easy and unexpectedly often a weak chin is to blame.

I'd have to say Wlad. I don't know if RJ has always had a glass jaw, but latley it looks like he does.

Julian Jackson had very weak jaw in spite of the fact that itself beat as from a gun. Floyd Patterson in heavyweight had also at all an average chin and was sent on a floor more than 15 times. Joe Louis also had not a steel jaw and has sat on ass for the career repeatedly.
