I would conceed he is a neo-con and not a true consecrative, I guess I just see him as the right wing of the ********** party - taking all the worst ideas and running with them. I think that his ideas are way out of "moderate" though. This has been an administration based on corruption and cronies. I think he did more to destroy the constitution than just spit on it though. They have tried to wipe there ass with it and throw it out. I do like some of things Ron Paul says - especially about Iraq and the reasons we are there and the reasons we need to get out - and I do see him as a true conservative, I just do not see him as a leader.
I see ***** as a leader. A leader who motivates and brings people together. I see that as really important. He has the ability to bring up the standing of America in the world again. People around the world respect him. When he was giving speeches just on policy - people said What happened to that guy who got everyone fired up at the ********ic National Convention? I can see people disagreeing with some of his policies - I happen to agree with a lot of them. I just am glad he is not going down gutter road and making fun of "**********s" in general. That he is actively perusing all peoples vote.
It just has to change. We could unite behind him.

There is no question ***** would be good at being a leader IE manipulating the masses to do his bidding. His hype machine has done a good job of painting him as a moderate trying to unify the right and left. However, the reality is that he is misleading the left through his Iraq troop "withdrawal" plan, and disqualifies himself from any true conservative support with his "Global Poverty" bill AKA UN global tax initiative, along with his ******* record. The guy is another corrupt, lying empty suit and is a complete media fabrication.

        Disappointing coming from Kelly.

        He should stick to boxing.

***** has made a huge comeback after Hillary was the overwhelming choice only a few months ago.

It doesn't happen by accident. The more people have studied the candidates it's become obvious who the right choice is.

He is a ******* ******** -there is no doubt. I just happen to think his ideas on "green collar jobs," the collage work program, affordable heath care, expanding early childhood education programs such as early head start are good. I think it would be great to start moving our manufacturing jobs back to this country - stop giving money to companies who move jobs out of the country.
I also understand why these ideas do not appeal to everyone. I would be expensive and it would increase domestic spending. I understand why this would not appeal to many people. There is an appeal to pulling yourself up by your own bootstrap and having no taxes that is appealing. I just look at life different. I think we are here to help each other and work together, not just for ourselves - but for the greater good.
I also think by motivating business to keep jobs in this country, stop with giving the 250K a year earners tax breaks, and developing new industries (green industries that could put many farms back in business) we could shore up our economy. Plus get rid of these crazy no bid contracts that the government does not keep track of.
I can see why you do not like *****. I think you have valid points - though I am not sure about lying and corrupt - but he is a politician and he is smooth. I just like his smoothness. I like most of his ideas.

I'll tell ya what would really kick ass. If someone designed some sort of General Discussion forum, where topics like this could be discussed.

I guess the main difference between us then is that you trust the government to solve all these problems. I personally believe that they have caused most of them to begin with.

I guess you could look at it that way - but I really don't see the government as the answer to all. But we are in system - a broken one - but it is a system. We function as a community and that community is held together by many things and government is one. I do think we need to do our part - we need to be active. Our government needs to work for us.
Every society has a level of social inequality - that is just the way it is. When we have a society as complex as our is there will be a mechanism develop to regulate.
I really think that ***** see this to some degree - that is why his "Universal Healthcare" is optional for adults.

"I personally believe that they have caused most of them to begin with."

I don't think that Gov cause ALL the problems no more than they can solve all of them. I think it is on us to do that. The Gov is a tool we should use - not be used by. Its not a perfect system, but it is all we got right now.
