I cant get over the feeling that its just the minor leagues for the heavyweight division, plus I can only watch so much boxing!!! I agree with the earlier thread about getting rid of this division.

No kidding. CW is only a couple pounds beow the HW limit, but it's like a completely different ballpark when you look at the fights and the fighters. If only smallish HWs like Eddie Chambers would fight there!

unfortunately, Im in college, and we dont get HBO or Showtime here, let alone DVR. So basically that leaves me with two options...Go to a bar to watch the fights, or watch it on the internet. Either way, its unlikely that Im going to get the chance to watch both of the events, unless theyre at different times, and even then it would be tricky.

Now that I think about it Im kind of upset. I really did want to watch Haye vs Enzo, but I cant miss Juan Diaz fight, and the Sam Peter Maskaev one should be good too. but what are you gonna do...

        I dont care about cruiserweights
you should bud. theyre very fun to watch. now that I think about it...its what the Heavyweights should be. I mean, theyre like very in-shape Heavyweights. Ibragimov and Chambers could easily make Cruiserweight if they lost that extra weight they carry around.

Spectacular weekend of fights without a doubt. The Haye/Mac fight will be excellent too. I've only seen one Mac fight too, and about 5 Haye fights. It's enough to tell me this one will be exciting.

Yeah next week should be good. The CW matchup with Enzo and Haye should be a good one and I think will be the best fight of the night. The Diaz/Campbell should be a decent fight as well since Diaz likes to apply the pressure the whole fight. Im hoping the Maskaev/Peter fight will be good, but the last few times i've been dissapointed by the HW's, so im not trying to get my hopes to high.

Hell go back to the Holyfield days when he and Qawi put on a couple slugfests. Most of the best heavyweights until the late 90's were 220 and under. This IS the heavyweight division everyone fell in love with.

Your right that's why I like to watch them because the have punching power, good workrate and they aren't as slow as some of the HW's. Also becomes some of the fighters in the division may not be well known doesn't mean there couldn't be good and exciting fights.

One of the best Saturdays in a while coming up:

Maccarinelli vs. Haye (for 3 world titles plus Ring!)
                      Kraj vs. Godfrey
                      JL Castillo vs. Bradley
                      Ruiz vs. McCline
                      Juan Diaz vs. Campbell
                      Maskaev vs. Peter
