In terms of raw action and drama - I would say it ranks up there. Considering how close the last fight was, and with both fighters saying they would fight a 4th match - my god, it's up there.

Not in terms of the significance because there will obviously be more clout around Frasier-Ali. But in terms of the fights themselves, the action, the drama, the punishment it has to be the best, it actually makes the morales-barrera trilogy seem like both guys fought 36 cautious rounds in comparison.

Gatti v Ward = two bums with no boxing skills.

After their first fight, Gatti definately had the advantage on Ward.

He dominated #2, and only had a tough time in #3 because he cracked his hand in half.

Not to mention that Barrera, Morales, Vazquez and Marquez all have figured out how to fight skillfully and still make their fights ridiculously great to watch.

I voted for the fourth option because I really am split on whether Barrera-Morales or Vazquez-Marquez is the best trilogy I have ever seen.

i thought the Vazquez-Marquez fights were more dramatic and exciting. But nothing in Marquez-Vazquez matched round 9 of the first Gatti-Ward fight.

ANd its not the greatest ever, but its up in that list with all the other great triligies, which is worth more money then either guy could have ever been paid
