    Wlad's Chin

Corrie Sanders: Quick, Southpaw, 6'4, good straight punches, power
Sam Peter: Big, good puncher, many illegal punches
Brewster: Good puncher, Wlad gassed out
    Williamson: Wlad Off balance
    Puritty: Wlad Gassed

I don't know if his chin is as bad as we think. I think it is more in how he reacts when under heavy fire. He doesn't just stand there or throw his hands up ala Pacman/Morales to say "that's all you got". He's more of a "oh I just got hit and he is still coming, I better hold on or just fall back". Many of those fights he was gassed out or off balanced.

I am not denying he was hurt in some of them, but to me, a bad chin is being wobbled and doing a little dance every time someone blows on your chin (ala Judah). The times Wlad went down hard were to BIG straight shots by a puncher like Sanders or being tired or off balanced.

I think too many fighters (HWs) will walk into the ring with him THINKING all they have to do is look at his chin and Wlad will be KOed. I don't think that's the case.

The haters know this, but they wont give him credit, I actually dont think he will get credit until he is retired for 20 years after unifying and defending his title until he is like 38 and then his recognition is going to come in.

*looks at sig* Wald needs to work on his takedown defense

Has Wald shaked off that reputation of having a "glass chin" or will that **** follow him the rest of his career like Lewis

to wladimir's credit - he has never been out cold. has gotten up every single time. the TOS knockdown should've even be recognized. and the purrity incident he never was knocked down. even in the sanders fight he got up every time. he was definitely caught in that fight. i could tell wk was cold. didn't look like he even warmed up prefight. he said after that fight he will never undertrain for an opponent again.

almost forgot - the brewster incident was completely bizarre on every level. i have an ability to pick up on this **** and mentioned something didn't feel right as the guys walked to the ring. if i, who wasn't even there in person, picked up on a "vibe", then something definitely was unusual that night. the rematch shows how that fight should've went down.

And so will Wlad as soon as he unifies all the titles, he will be the first heavyweight champ in history to unify all the titles (including WBO). And the 3rd to unify the WBC/WBA/IBF titles after Tyson and Lewis. I dont consider Douglass or Holyfield as having unified the 3 belts because thats how they already got them. Lewis and Tyson were the only ones to bring all of em together.

In the Brewster fight he never hit the canvas, he hit the ropes where it was counted as a standing count. Although officially he never hit the canvas and the ref waved it off after he saw how exhausted he was at the end of the 5th round.
