Yeah that is why they picked Lacy to whip the overated Calzaghe
    LMFAO

The only reason a lot of American fans are picking Calzaghe is because it is commonsense that he holds all the keys to victory he is an active volume puncher for a start ,Hopkins throws 30 punches a round & he happens to be 43 yeas old ,u would have to be an idiot to think Hopkins is the favourite in this fight

IMO certain American fans are keeping a low profile saying Calzaghe will win because they believe he will but deep down they are hoping Hopkins wins & if he does u wait and see how loud they become ,the ones that want Hopkins to win are favouring Calzaghe so they dont get the jibes rammed down thier throat if Calzaghe beats Hopkins
Sir, everyone picked Lacy over Calzaghe, the British, the Americans, the French etc.

Sir, it's overrated, favorite, favoring, don't and their.

Sorry I'm French, my English is very bad but I like to correct your spelling errors.

i would'nt say No Contest as thier are some very level headed American posters that are unbiased & there are some wildy over the top Biased British posters ,mentioning no names

but if u allie that to some of the ignorance fromCertain American fight fans have towards Foreign fighters in general not just British
u can see why there is so much division between the 2 sets of fans

look at the way Vladamir Klitschko is talked about for a start

I would say British fans for the following reason: When there is a good Brit fighter the majority of Brits will make him out to be an all time great before he ever does anything significant in the ring.

They are often pompous and are quick to dismiss everything with "you haven't seen these fighters before" or "you have only seen there last 1-2 fights" and mock us for not knowing about local club fighters who are televised in the UK.

          Example 1:
Khan young apprently talented fighter has a thousand threads saying his hand speed is better than Judah, Mayweather and how he would beat them.....**** after only about a dozen fights we see this.

          Example 2:
Ricky Hatton has "self admitted" lackluster performances in his "American Invasion" campaign, (Collazo, Urango) so many voice there thoughts that they dont see anything super-extrodinary about Hatton that leads them to believe he can defeat Mayweather.

Result Brits disclaim "You fat yank you dont know **** you have only seen Hatton fight a couple of times. You never saw him fight "Old" Ben Tackie or the Pendelton fight. Hatton will demolish PBF"

Lastly what bothers me most is the British arrogance and egocentricisity that makes them believe the rest of the world NEEDS TO KNOW the differences between a Welsh and London accent. Or the fine distinctions between someones Liverpool accent or that of Mancester.....I **** you not there are post on NSB in which Brits are "lecturing on the differences".

British fans are more biased. When it comes to comparing themselves with America, they ( Brits) have a major inferiority complex.

BTW I'm friends with a British fighter that trains with Graham and Hatton who periodically sends me DVDs of European fights.

yeh i agree ,clealry why i have stated that British fans are overly biased

your argument was about steroids ,which your best mates cousins mates mate happens to be a power lifter who knows exactly what Juice Roy is alleged to have taken & being an ex proffesional fighter himself it gives him more than enough qualifications to discuss that advantages & disadvantages of taking it ,oh i forgot he has never boxed proffesionally let alone under the influence of steroids so realistically he knows about as much as u

                      **** all

James Toney & Batchelder looked pants and they were both under the influence ,so realistically we can assume steroids plays no major part in enhancing performances what so ever otherswise Toney stamina would'nt have been so poor in that fight ,i love the logic that comes form u how old are u 10

BTW ive got the fight before u ask if ive seen it
