Come on, the guy's just bounced Miranda and gone two fights with Taylor... old Moby gets a gimme IMO. They can't all be barnburners.

If Pavlik fights either Trinidad or Andy Lee, then im not watching it because i already know what will happen. Both of them would be knocked out in devastating fashion. Lee is a green up and comer that cannot fight going backward and Pavlik's game consists of never taking a step backward.

Tito (like Pavlik) is also a smaller come forward fighter that needs to be set in order to punch. Tito would be overwhelmed by the size and aggression of Pavlik. On top of all this (not that it matters because the same outcome would happen) Tito is past his prime. Pavlik would stop Tito in about 3 to 4 rounds. The accurate stiff left jab and the hard right hands would find its mark easily and would be very damaging on what is already a somewhat wear and tear body.

Pavlik/Duddy would be exciting for the first 2 rounds until Pavlik starts to figure him out. Duddy is a smaller come forward fighter that does not have devastating puncher power, which should already tell the story of the fight. Duddy fought life and death with an old Yory boy Campas. I see Pavlik getting a a corner stoppage in this one. As i was watching Duddy's last fight against Smichet, i noticed that he was open for power shots against a smaller fighter that was a lesser opponent. What do you think would happen against a 6'2 accurate power house that never take a step back? What do i have to say to that? Pavlik KO 5 John Duddy.

These other untested push overs would also be overwhelmed.

Pavlik/Abraham is the fight that needs to be made. Abraham would give Pavlik a real test and is an elite fighter and current belt holder.

I agree. This is the way world champions do business. Nobody fights the best possible opponent everytime out. Let Pavlik have an easy payday and Winky have a comeback fight to prepare him for a title challenge.

good to see you've read counter arguments on the subject and understand the way boxing scheduelles are set up.

Pavlik of all people definitely deserve a rest or an easier fight before he step it up again But i hope People dont turn against him like they did Jermaine Taylor who fought one too many easy fight in Kassim Ouma and Corey spinks.
