yea tommys cards didnt make sense to me anyways..Its insignificant, but Judge TOMMY KACZMAREK scored round 10, 10-9 for Marquez. but there was a point deduction...
He had Marquez winning 114-111 so it makes no difference, but its a mistake

Good research. It may have been insignificant, but it was also careless and he should be repremanded.Comment

Before everyone starts condemning this judge, this could very well (more likely) be ESPN's* mistake. The media makes these mistakes all the time as evident of the "Corrections" section that is in magazines, newspapers, and websites.
If you want to find out for sure, email the website and ask if this is correct before you run with it as fact. Not everything you read is true.
* Ironically, I just noticed it was Yahoo! and not ESPN.Comment

I emailed Yahoo! Sports in order to see if this was a mistake on their part or the judge’s. I'll report what they say. I think this is important to get this type of information correct as an official’s reputation is being called into question.
On a side note, at the amateur level a judge does not have to agree with the point deduction of the referee and can even make their own deduction if the referee misses it after two cautions. (Very rare, but it can happen.) I don’t know if they have the same contingency at the professional level but it is a possibility.Comment
