Ah,.....................No. bernstein had it a draw. Great fight but Marquez dominated the 1st 5 rounds and had a knockdown. The middle rounds were split and Vasquez closed it out. At the end Marquez wins by a point or two.

Take away the 2 10-8 rds and you have 10 rds to judge. I have no problem with a judge sayin thta Vasquez won by a point but to say he won by 3 points is not logical. What that means is that Vasquez won 6 rds to Marquez's 3 and 1 even. Take away a point for a low blow which wasn't and it still does not add up to a 3 point victory for Vasquez. I must admit that throughout the fight and up until the last bell, I knew that Marquez was going to get caught. He just would not move when inside and gave Vasquez the only opportunity to win a fight that he had in the bag.

Rounds 1 and 2 were virtually even. I gave both to Marquez but they were such close rounds.

Idk why Bernstein insisted that marquez had clearly won those rounds, he is usually right on point. Maybe a bad night

I gave the first two rounds to Marquez basically because that jab was working great for him. He got away from it and that's when Vasquez started coming on and making the fight an inside fight. To Vasquez's credit though his pressure and hard punches nullified that jab.

Vazquez came out in the 12th round and erased all doubts in my mind. I had him winning that fight by a point on the cards but it was not as close as the scores indicated. Marquez rallied late in some rounds and boxed some rounds early but for the most part Izzy was busier landing the better shots. I'm not gonna deny it though, Rafa stole some rounds with hard punches in the second half, but he was not nearly as strong, the 12th round was ****ing brutal, its a 10-8 round even without a knockdown if there has ever been one, the knockdown argument is pointless. Marquez went low like 5 times and even though the one with the deduction was sketchy he earned it on repitition. The fact that i was rooting for vazquez and watching it with a bunch of people made it one of the best fights if not the best ive ever seen live.
