    ..GUERRERO/LINARES: Anyone Else Excited?...

    Jorge Linares: 25(16) - 0 - 0
Notable Wins: Oscar Larios, TKO 10 - Gamaliel Diaz, KO 8.

    Robert Guerrero: 22(15) - 1 - 1

Both guys have had some nice KOs as of late and had some VERY nice skills. I guess I'm curious if anyone else would love to see this fight as much as I would, and who do you guys think would win?

Yeah It would be a great fight and won that would definitely provide excitement. Both guys have good power and can devestate an opponent. I think if they were to fight I would take Linares. Even though Guerrero is good I think Linares is just better. I think Jorge would win by decision, but wouldn't be suprised if he got the KO in the later rounds.

Yeah I think the fight has the potential to be exciting.

But Guerrero is the real deal, and fight to fight he can change his style to frustrate his opponents totally. I think he'd fluster Linares bad and land the left hand counter shots. I do think Linares would put up a great fight and I do think this would definitely go the distance.

Yeah.. I like that the poll is split so far. It shows how good this fight could be. I'd pick Linares, by decision, but it'd be VERY close.

Thing is, Linares throws ****ing super crisp combos. lol kind of like Juan Diaz.

I mean by sheer volume he could put the hurt on Guerrero feasibly. But how will he escape the left hand counter shots? Linares?

Yeah after watching Guerrero last night, I was impressed even more. A fight with him and Linares would be close. I wonder if he want's the fight though. Last night when Farhood was interviewing him he talked about fighting the winner of today's fight, he mentioned fighting Steve Luevano a fellow american, and also he talked about maybe moving up and fighting the big names in the SFW division. He seems like he want's the bigger fights and at this point Linares isn't a big name yet. We'll see though because Guerrero seems like a guy that will fight anybody no matter what.

I think he has better lateral movement then Guerrero MIGHT be used to. That could help him out. But both can keep up a good workrate. I thik it's a decision, either way. It just depends on who tires first, and I'd think Guerrero would.

I would love to see this fight. Guerrero is probably my favourite fight at the moment. He has been so impressive in his last few bouts showing he has very good power as well as plenty of ability. In his current form its going to take something special to beat him, Linares is special and I think he would get the nod on a close decision. Would be rroting for Geurrero all the way though.

guerrero loses his balance when hit with right hands, linares could possibly land counters like the one he caught gamalie diaz with...i pick lil' de la hoya by decision...

I think Linares hand speed an combination punching takes the fight. BUt Linares chin hasnt really been tested and Guerrero could be the one to test it.

THey should make this fight instead of Linares-Dibs and put Linares-GUerrero as the co-feauture to DLH-Forbes
