Let us not forget that when Mundine fought Kessler, he fought Kessler for Kessler's belt in his own [Mundine's] backyard! That was a completely different risk/reward proposition. Not to mention that Mundine was not the draw he is now, in Australia.

We've seen a number of good performances from Mundine (and as has been said, even his defensive performance against Kessler was pretty class), yet he's fighting such terrible opponents as of late, we haven't been seeing the same performances.
