With some experience, Bute can be a threat to anybody, including Kessler.

nah, kessler will give him a boxing lesson. the guy is 28! he is what he is, and is not going to change much now! kessler will jab the hell outta him, especially if he keeps his rh down all night like he does! he is good, but overrated, and will be beaten by kessler, or joe! his power is not as good as claimed! he landed alot of flush lefts, and it took him a long time to get jop out of there. joppy has no business fighting. he looked horrible, and should have been gone by 4! i would not get ultra excited about bute beating a 37 yr old joppy at 168, and him lasting 10 rds!

Joppy isn't what he used to be, but Bute did what he had to do and those last few rounds he was beating the hell out of him. I like Bute's hand speed and movement. With the SMW division being pretty good right now and other guys maybe moving up, Bute could be in some very interesting fights. I would like to see him really step it up in the next few fights, but let's wait and see who gives him that chance.

Lucian Bute is one of my favorite fighters - he's never disappointed me yet. I think Bute vs. Kessler would be a competitive fight.

It will be interesting to see who Lucian's next opponent will be. I think he would handle Miranda or Lacy easily enough. Bute vs. Taylor would be a good matchup.

it would be nice for him to get out of his comfort zone, and also fight a guy who means something like a taylor, kessler! he needs to step up, and leave the pacifier of canada, and prove himself against a worldclass smw!

Joppy had no business being in a world title fight, but Bute should be competitive with anyone at 168. He has really long arms and his footwork and balance are excellent.

Bute is only the second fighter ever to stop Joppy. Most people were picking Bute to win by wide decision, because Joppy has a good chin.

Why you gotta be such a **** for?
You expect Bute to unify or something?
The man won, show some respect.
