Old Echols is getting roughed up by a guy who took the fight on a few days notice.

Aside from junior middleweight Joe Gatti, only Anthony Mundine was ever stopped by Sven Ottke in a title fight.

And that is what Mundine will be remembered for unless he starts taking on some top fighters.

Remember that Bernard Hopkins stopped him 4 years earlier and in a much more desecive manor.

No my friend. Mundine is under rated. But the second part is right.

I have seen him train. I have seen Kessler train. I have seen others train.

Mundine has serious hand speed and under rated power. His defence is also top notch.

Vs Ottke he was an amateur, even he will say that (10th pro fight with no amateur career, fatigue contributed he had Ottke one punch from being stopped the round earlier)

The sad thing for Australians is. We will never know how far he could have gone in the sport. Because he wastes talent beating up Soliman, Green etc etc. And dodges the big boys such as Kessler.

Brother, the current Mundine. Ottke wouldn't last 6 rounds with him. (ottke at his best).

Mundine was an amateur when they fought. Also he had ottke one punch from being stopped the round before.

I know your a respected writer. But please talk sense when referring to this. Ottke simply got lucky on an inexperienced fighter.
